For Guest that do not want to purchase MagicBand, you have the option to use MagicMobile! Available in the My Disney Experience app, Disney MagicMobile service is a convenient and more affordable way to access MagicBand features. MagicMoblie is eligible for iPhones, Apple Watch, or Google Pay enabled Android phones.
MagicMobile is a new feature that lets you turn your phone into your MagicBand. You’ll need to link your park tickets and set up an account on the My Disney Experience app. After you complete the set up, you’ll be able to scan your phone at the ticketing entrance to get into the park, unlock your resort hotel room, and even link PhotoPass images to your Disney account!
We have some tips to help make sure your photos get added to your account!
When you stop to take a photo with a Disney PhotoPass photographer, present your Disney MagicMobile pass to the Cast Member after they’ve gotten the shot! This is very similar to the current process that Disney has for MagicBands.
Be sure to have Bluetooth enabled on your phone so that the Disney park technology can connect with your device and load the images onto your account. This is important for on-ride photos!
