Universal Orlando Implements New Underage Policy at CityWalk
Hey Universal Park goers! We have a CityWalk policy update for you all. Universal Studios Orlando has just implemented a new policy for CityWalk on the weekends (Friday-Sunday). Visitors under the age of 18 will be required to leave CityWalk at 9 p.m. unless they are accompanied by a parent or guardian, are staying at a Universal hotel, or planning to see a movie at the Universal Cinemark movie theater.
Universal has put this new policy into effect after it is rumored that a fight between several minors at the parking garage lead to CityWalk being evacuated “out of an abundance of caution.” No injuries were reported in that incident. Universal takes the safety of their guest very seriously, and has taken measure to help reduce the chance of this situation form re-occurring.
Will this change with Halloween Horror Nights(HHN)?
Universal Horror Nights is quickly approaching, and this will lead many to wonder if this new policy will stay in place for the popular Halloween event that runs to midnight. Universal did not specify that it would not be in effect for Horror Nights, so for now, we can only assume this policy will be in effect unless they make another announcement stating otherwise.
HHN is a massive after hours event that is held annually at both Universal Orlando and Universal Hollywood. Guest can make their way through 10 terrifying haunted houses, 5 sinister scare zones, 2 outrageous live shows and some of Universal Studios’ most exhilarating attractions. And let’s not forget able the specialty foods, pizza fries anyone? Tickets are on sale now, contact us to learn more about our HHN hotel and ticket package and save an average of $200.00.
