Preview of SUPER NINTENDO WORLD™ Located in Universal Hollywood!
Hey Universal park fans! We have some exciting news, we have the opening date for Universal Hollywood’s SUPER NINTENDO WORLD™. Universal has officially announced that this new land will open February 17th, 2023!
What to Expect With This New Land
Select lucky guest were able to attend a soft opening of this new land, and some of them are taking us along the ride! If you haven’t checked out Ordinary Adventures on YouTube, they are wonderful theme park content creators. And they have released a video of this new land and everything it has to offer. Attractions
This land will open with one attraction, Mario Kart™: Bowser’s Challenge. Guest will Put on the special goggles and battle Team Bowser on iconic Mario Kart courses alongside Mario, Luigi, and Princess Peach. This attraction will be a 3D & 4D Ride with technology that will make you feel like you're apart of this epic racing game.
Power-Up Band™
Visiting a land based on the most popular video game of all time will of course have a way to play as you interact with the land! Power-Up Bands allow you to have the full experience at Super Nintendo World. Battle enemies, collect coins by hitting question mark blocks, and unlock stamps at the Super Nintendo World theme park. These bands will connect to a new park app that will allow you to tract your progress and achievements.
Toadstool Cafe™
This is a very fun dinning environment! Inside the Toad House is Toadstool Cafe™, guest will indulge in fun, tasty dishes crafted by Chef Toad and enjoy playful scenery of the Mushroom Kingdom from the windows. 1-UP Factory™
This is going to be a super-fun store where you will find all sorts of items from the Mushroom Kingdom. If you’re wanting to get a head start on merchandise, Head to the Character Shop on Universal Studios Hollywood’s Lower Lot for exclusive SUPER NINTENDO WORLD™ merchandise. Stock up on collectibles, apparel, and more.
If you’re wanting to visit the land, but don’t have the means to travel to California, well we have good news! This land will also be coming to Universal Orlando, with the opening of the new park Epic Universe which is set to open 2025.
